Catcher of Sparkly Things (Rubies)

The magpie is known as 'snag breac' in Irish; this translates to catcher of sparkly things. Magpies are known to collect shiny items and even give them as gifts to people who feed them.

This pendant was hand-carved from wax and cast into sterling silver. The eyes have natural colourful precious gemstones set into them.
