Cat Head (Purple Sapphires)

The long-eared owl in Irish is known as 'ceann cait' in Irish; this translates to cat head. This owl is the most common and widespread owl species in Ireland.

This pendant was hand-carved from wax and cast into sterling silver. The eyes have natural colourful precious gemstones set into them.
